* To place a logo anywhere in a web by typing ==%<nop>MYLOGO%==, define the Variable on the web's WebPreferences page, and upload a logo file, ex: =mylogo.gif=. You can upload by [[FileAttachment ][attaching the file]] to WebPreferences, or, to avoid clutter, to any other topic in the same web, ex: =LogoTopic=:

TextFormattingFAQ 09 Jan 2003 - 04:59 - r1.14   Main.PeterThoeny
Yes. The easiest way is to [[FileAttachment ][attach]] a GIF, JPG or PNG file to a topic and then to place it with: =%<nop>ATTACHURL%/myImage.gif=. This works only for the page that the image is attached to.
You can upload images directly to your server with FTP access. You can also [[FileAttachment ][attach]] image files to a topic - you could even create a dedicated image topic, like =ImageLibrary= - and then link to the images directly:

TWikiMetaData 11 Dec 2002 - 07:30 - r1.11   Main.PeterThoeny
TWikiMetaData uses =META= variables to store topic data that's separate from the main free-form content. This includes program-generated info like FileAttachment  and topic movement data, and user-defined TWikiForms info. Use =META= variables to format and display Meta Data.
